North Oaks Health System breaks ground on its $15 million outpatient medical complex in Satsuma next week. The North Oaks-Livingston Parish Medical Complex will be located on 11 acres of land purchased by North Oaks Health System near the I-12 Satsuma-Colyell exit in Livingston Parish. The three-story complex — part of the planned Suma Crossing development — will include an urgent care center, a family medicine clinic, a specialty clinic and an outpatient diagnostic and treatment center. The facility is expected to bring 55 new jobs with an annual payroll of $4.4 million. A ceremony is planned for 10 a.m. April 8.
